Temple Grandin has a new book called, "The Way I See It." This is her website. I read some of the reviews on Amazon and I think I do want to read it. I used to think that Asperger's was so different from ASD because the folks with Asperger's are high functioning. BUT, I think that people on the spectrum do share some traits like sensitivity to their environment and perhaps thinking in pictures. At least, that is the way I am beginning to understand it from the little bits and pieces I have read from Dr. Grandin in the last few years. Let me know if you've read this book or her other one, "Thinking in Pictures". I cannot believe I have not even read that one. Here is something she wrote explaining this process. Just sharing. Back later. Liberty is doing very well on his seizure medications - there have been no more witnessed seizures and he has picked up using pictures, saying parts of words. I am in process of planning his summer which will definitely involve swim lessons again, perhaps some horseback riding if we are fortunate enough to get into the program, and (PRAY) an ABA therapist coming to our house?!

We hope you all have a great summer. So glad the meds are working and he is learning/catching up. :)

The horseback riding is working out very well for us [5th lesson tomorrow]
I'll check out the latest Temple, too.
