I find this oddly comforting...

Quan Yin, The Goddess of Compassion, found among Lib's toys in his room. He loves her and is always swiping her from my alter.

You can read about her here, but I found this line about her particularly moving: "Quan Yin is a shortened form of a name that means One Who Sees and Hears the Cry from the Human World. Her Chinese title signifies, "She who always observes or pays attention to sounds," i.e., she who hears prayers..."

Oh Yes, very comforting indeed.

Kathy I find this wonderful and it reminds me again of how serendipity is connected to spirit. Did you upright the figure or did Lib?

No, Lib did it all. I walked into his room and there she was. He is kind of obsessed with her. He doesn't leave her lying around. She has a hand that comes out that you are supposed to hold and pray with. Don't know where the little hand went!

Oh, I love that! Quan Yin ROCKS! And no surprise, Lib gets that!
